DR. HASAN MAHMOOD AMINUL ISLAM is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of CSE, East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Presently, his research group(DHMAINetRG) is mostly focusing on the innovation of lightweight IoT testbed for the Future IoT Architecture. Previously, he worked as a Specialist in system-on-chip (SoC) Software at Nokia headquarters, Espoo, Finland, where the key responsibility was to develop Layer1-Low (l1low) System-on-Chip (SoC) Software driver development for 5G (2019-2022). He received a Doctor of Science in Technology (CSE) from the School of Science, Aalto University, Finland in 2018. As part of his doctoral studies, he worked on Future Internet Architecture (ICN) in the EU-H2020 POINT project. He received a Masters Degree in Networking and Services majoring in Distributed Systems and Data Communication, from the University of Helsinki, Finland. As part of his Master’s thesis, he worked in the Nomadic Lab, L M Ericsson, Finland, where he closely worked with the IETF community on the data channel protocol options of the RTCWeb. His research interest includes Data Communications and Distributed System, Internet protocols, IoT protocols, Future Internet Architecture, Information-Centric Networking Architecture, and Delay Tolerant Networking. Presently, he is also focusing on Machine Learning
